Accurate and Fast Transcription

Videofiles produces high quality, accurate transcripts of virtually any recorded material. We routinely transcribe one-on-one interviews, group meetings, focus groups, speeches and presentations, meetings, legal proceedings, raw production footage and broadcast material. We can also produce time-coded transcripts for production editing and transcripts that can be formatted for immediate use for captioning or subtitling.

We can work from virtually every media format including HD Formats, Digibeta and BetaSP, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs and digital audio or video files. Here are just some of the benefits of using Videofiles for your transcription requirements.

  • Secure handling of your originals
  • Accurate and reliable transcripts
  • Time code included
  • Unparalleled customer service
  • Any format output
  • Any source material
  • Standard and rush turnaround available
  • No job is too big or too small for us
  • Competitive prices based on per minute not per page for easier budgeting

Transcription Formatting Options:

  • Clean – We will remove all of the pauses and sounds from the transcription of your recording. This includes sounds such as “…ah…” or “…erm…” or “…umm…” We will even, upon request, remove cursing, swearing and expletives and tailor the transcription to your need. We can remove background noises or conversations happening in the background that you did not intend to be recorded.
  • Verbatim – We will leave in all the sounds and affectations and swearing/expletives.
  • Paraphrase – This is the summarizing of certain aspects of the recording. For example, in a recorded interview, you may not be interested in the complete question being asked, but only the response. We will paraphrase the question, making the transcription shorter and easier for you to wade through.
